Our Kimono Experiences
Things to know:
- For experiences 1, 2 and 3, a professional Japanese make-up artist can be added to the shoot for an additional 10,000yen.

-Please give us as much time as you can before your booking so we can make time and kimono of your choosing are available. We will do our very best, but sometimes our schedule fills up fast.

Experience 1: Outdoor Kimono Shoot
Our easiest and most affordable Kimono experience. We help you select the Kimono you like, how your hair will be styled, guide you and communicate with you through every step of the every step of the way. Our shooting location of choice is Shinjuku Park, a 5 minute walk from where we dress you; but we can dress and meet you in other locations as well.

** In the case of bad weather, we will also offer a "Kimono & Chill" option where we dress you in Kimono, take indoor photos, and then head to a fav cafe to chill, relax and just enjoy some nice conversation over tea, snacks and coffee. **
Experience 2: Kimono & Tea Ceremony
Try some of the best green tea Japan has to offer during a traditional tea ceremony. After your Kimono dressing, we let you get firsthand experience in preparing for and going through a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Lastly, you are given a certificate of completion for attending and of course we take lots of beautiful pictures of you in Kimono during the process!

Experience 3: Traditional Cooking at Kamado House
Experience traditionally made Japanese food at Kamado House, a hand-build, traditional Taisho-Era Japanese home. After we dress you in traditional Kimono of the time, and a brief tour of the space, by it's owner and builder, Haruna, she guides you through preparing a traditional Japanese meal. Nestled along the banks of the Tamagawa river, come around dusk and we can take sunset photos on the riverside too!
